According to the most recent data gathered by the Association des hôtels du grand Montréal (AHGM), the hotel occupancy rate of the Greater Montreal region was 75.15% in October 2007, an increase from 73.62% in October 2006.

The number of available rooms within the AHGM member establishments went from 510 973 rooms in October 2006 to 521 482 rooms in October 2007, representing a 2.1% increase. The number of occupied rooms increased 4.2%, with 376 165 occupied rooms in October 2006 to 391 865 occupied rooms in October 2007.
The average rate increased from $139 to $140.70 for the same period (October).
For the first ten months of 2007, the occupancy rate in Montréal hotels was 69.38%, a slight decrease from 69.74% for the same period in 2006.
These results reflect solely the performance of AHGM member hotels and not that of the whole of Montréal accommodation establishments.
