According to the latest data gathered by the Association des hôtels du grand Montréal (AHGM), the hotel occupancy rate of Greater Montréal was 45,96% in January 2008, versus 45,27% in January 2007.

The number of available rooms in all AHGM member hotels increased from 513 391 in January 2007 to 521 389 (+1,56%) in January 2008. The number of occupied rooms increased from 232 395 in January 2007 to 239 624 (+3,11%) in January 2008.
The average room-night rate increased from $124,54 to $126,72 for the same period (January).
These results reflect the performance of AHGM member hotels solely, and not all Montréal accommodations.
