According to the latest data gathered by the Association des hôtels du grand Montréal (AHGM), the hotel occupancy rate of Greater Montréal was 54.30% in March 2008, versus 59.79% in March 2007.

The number of available rooms in all AHGM member hotels increased from 513 391 in March 2007 to 525 388 (+1.56%) in March 2008. The number of occupied rooms decreased from 306 978 in March 2007 to 285 296 (-7.06%) in March 2008.
The average room-night rate decreased from $126.54 to $125.69 for the same period (March).
These results reflect the performance of AHGM member hotels solely, and not all Montréal accommodations.
