According to the latest data gathered by the Association des hôtels du grand Montréal (AHGM), the hotel occupancy rate of Greater Montréal was 66.42% in April 2008, versus 62.19% in April 2007.

The number of available rooms in all AHGM member hotels increased from 496 830 in April 2007 to 508 440 (+2.3%) in April 2008. The number of occupied rooms increased from 309 000 in April 2007 to 337 714 (9.3%) in April 2008.
The average room-night rate increased from $130.78 to $136.01 for the same period (April).
These results reflect the performance of AHGM member hotels solely, and not all Montréal accommodations.
